Production Management & MRP

Production

As global competition for export driven manufacturers is steadily increasing, efficient production monitoring, planning and scheduling becomes more and more a key requirement. Smart software based production systems can help in coping with these requirements. Production management and MRP supports you in alligning the production process in a more organized way using barcodes and traceability systems, monitoring the production activities on the shop floor, or avoiding product and capacity shortages.

Our software solutions can help you with these issues with the aim to reduce costs, increase productivity and reduce complexity throughout the whole production process.

MRP I

You should supply your material requirements in time to achieve the production quantities, which you specified through orders or the Main Production Scheme. You can specify the accurate order quantities by defining in your system parameters such as your suppliers’ order policies, LOT size, and minimum order quantity. You may have chosen to dissolve the possible risks in material supply by working with multiple suppliers. In that case, you can choose among the quota, supplier capacity and priority methods in order to identify the best suitable supplier.

In the planning information, where you can define the production times of inventories at semi product levels, you can also specify the minimum inventory and LOT size information and have MRP I automatically calculate the manufacture order quantities.

As a result of all of these calculations, you can automatically generate your manufacture orders and purchasing orders.

Changing conditions will nevertheless lead to changes in your plans. With the facilities provided by MRP I you can automatically reorganise your manufacture orders according to your modified plan very easily.

MRP II

You can realise the production plan which you have generated in MRP I, to the extent that your capacity allows. With the calculations you make according to variables such as station capacities, factory calendar, shift definitions and product routings; you can specify the capacity of your plant, and in the case that you determine inadequate capacity, you can identify the bottlenecks and review your investment plans.
